Ranger guild
Has anyone ever tried a pvp guild consisting only of rangers? That uses ranger skills only?
I'm thinking, if everyone use spike builds, they would be able to kill character after character quickly

Wasn't there at one point all Rit teams (same spike idea) and I thought there was some funky monky smite spike too at some point.
Regardless, even through the uses of spirits, secondaries etc, this would be pretty tough to create/ run and be sucessful with (most likely would have been done by now if it could be considering the age of the game).

all rangers with no healers is doomed to failure, lol. besides, why limit urself to one proffesion when it's easy to play any profession with pvp character customization? maybe just get ur guildies to all just start up ranger chars in pve so u can get together and r-spike pve sometime =D

Well the thing is that rangers lack a variety of healing skills. Rits and monks on the other hand don't. Only prob with an all monk team is that Smiting dam is pretty limited.

Wasn't it some sort of HA build using signet of mystic wrath for the Mo teams? I'd imagine there were other gimmics in the past too.
I'd imagine the trapper builds and IWAY varients would have been as close as you'd get?
Moot point regardless since the Ra team idea just doesn't sound feasible (that I'm aware of anyway).

Each game account has at least 4 slots. Devoting all 4 slots to only rangers is pretty dumb.

Then it comes down to who can spike the other team faster or who happens to be sporting a counter build atm. See how that leads into total boredom?

Sorry for my late respons.
I thought of a build like this:
[Rapid fire][Sloth hunters shot][Keen arrow][Prepared shot][Whirling defense][Lightning reflexes][Comfort animal][Charm animal]
The four first might not do much from one ranger, but time it with eight, and the other character will fall quickly.
The animals you have just for some more trouble with the other guild.
But i do guess it becomes very vulnerable in certain points - if the other guild is prepared.

*50% of the time covered with a 75% chance to block but no defense vs. spells
*Has Pets with no Pet Attacks
*Must have Line of Sight and a mostly stationary target to succeed at the Spike
Yeah, all in all I'd say it's pretty vulnerable to just about anything...

The idea is that you wont need any of that if the enemy is dead before they can cast anything ^^

VIMWay back in the day was all Rangers, I can't remember if it was 8 or 6 man HA for that though, perhaps it was a bit a of both.
Taurean, the current RSpike teams have other proffesions as well as things for heals, condition removal(blind Rangers miss alot) slowing movement and removing enchants.
[Aegis] is a rather popular skill and if your target is blocking 50% of your attacks, theres a good cahnce it's not going to die or it will get healed before death.
With multiple Stances an "All Ranger Team" could play rather defensively and I'm sure could spike well enough to win a few matches in The Undeworld vs bad PUGs, but they would not get far. They would be rolled in a minute or two vs an organized team.
